Simmering Under: Oakland Raiders, Buffalo Bills, New York Giants, Cincinnati Bengals, Houston Texans
↓10. Chicago Bears - (3-3) LW # Freeze Alert) - I know it’s unusual for a 3-3 to be in any Top 10, but the three losses have come against three Top 10 teams, in the Saints, the Packers, and the Lions with two of those on the road. Otherwise the Bears have handles their business.
↓9. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - (4-2) LW Simmering Under) - After being devastated the previous week by the 49ers, the Buccaneers came back and beat a good Saints team, to rise to the top of the NFC South.
↓8. Pittsburgh Steelers - (4-2) (LW Simmering Under) – The Steelers rebound back into the Top 10 after two consecutive victories. That trend should continue with this weeks game at Arizona.
↑7. New Orleans Saints – (4-2) LW #2)- Another week, another tough division game for the Saints. BUt his week Drew Brees couldn’t work his magic and keep the Saints marching, as they lost to the Buccaneers on the road.
6. Detroit Lions - (5-1) (LW # 6) – I guess this year’s team of destiny was destined to lose at some point. But injuries are starting to mount for the Lions. and their run defense is being exposed. Jim Schwartz needs to find a way to over come these issues if the Lions are to remain a Top 10 team.
↓5. San Francisco 49ers - (5-1) ( LW # 8) – The 49ers vault into the Top 5, with an impressive win over the previously unbeaten Lions. But this team must remain humble in victory otherwise they can expect a big target on their backs. The hunter is now becoming the hunted. How will they handle it?
↓4. San Diego Chargers – (4-1) (LW # 5) – The Chargers beat another team they should beat in Denver, but a match up with the Jets this Sunday will help determine how good the Chargers are.
↓3. Baltimore Ravens - (4-1) (LW # 4) – With a nice a solid win over the Texans, the Ravens continue their ascent back to being a top team.
↓2. New England Patriots – (5-1) (LW #3) – The Patriots scored a big win over the Cowboys at home on Sunday and move back into the Number two spot in the Rankings.
1. Green Bay Packers - (6-0) (LW #1) – The Packers keep rolling and remain the number one team in the NFL. The roll will continue as the Packers face the Vikings this week.
Freeze Alert: Dallas Cowboys, Philadelphia Eagles, Washington Redskins, Arizona Cardinals,
