32. Green Bay Packers - Jared Crick, DE – Nebraska: The Packers add depth and talent to their Defensive Line. (LW – Same)
31. New England Patriots - David Wilson, RB - Miami: The Pats don’t have anything at RB. Wilson has break away speed and good receiving skills. Lamar Miller of Miami could be another option here, but I think Wilson is the more explosive of the two. (LW – Same)
30. San Francisco 49ers - Mark Barron, S – Alabama: The 49ers could use some help in the defensive backfield. (LW – Same)
29. New England Patriots - Whitney Mercilus, OLB - Illinois: The Pats need to find some pass rushers and Mercilus is one of the best. And isn’t Mercilus a great name for a pass rusher? (LW – Same)
28. Pittsburgh Steelers - David DeCastro, OG – Stanford: The Steelers always find depth on the OL. (LW – Same)
27. Baltimore Ravens - Cordy Glenn, OG - Georgia : The Ravens could stand to add some youth on the offensive line. (LW – same)
26. Houston Texans - Alshon Jeffrey, WR – South Carolina: When Andre Johnson is injured, The Texans don’t have much at WR. (LW – Kendall Wright, WR – Baylor)
25. Detroit Lions - Donta Hightower, ILB – Alabama: The Lions clearly need to add some talent to their defense. They need to get better at stopping the run especially and Hightower can help with that. (LW – Same)
24. Cincinnati Bengals - Chase Minnifield, CB – Virginia: The Bengals could use more youth at CB. (LW – Janoris Jenkins, CB – North Alabama)
23. Cleveland Browns - Kendall Wright, WR - Baylor: The Browns don’t have much talent at WR Wright is one of top prospects at WR, and could re-team with Robert Griffin III and add some spice to the Browns anemic offense. (LW – Luke Kuechly, ILB - Boston College).
22. Denver Broncos - Janoris Jenkins, CB – North Alabama: The Broncos are getting a little long in the tooth at CB. (LW – Chase Minnifield, CB – Virginia)
21. New York Giants - Luke Kuechly, ILB - Alabama: Something tells me the Giants may be going to a 3-4 defense next season if a new coach arrives. And they’ll need some LB’s. (LW – Courtney Upshaw, OLB – Alabama)
20. Cincinnati Bengals - Jonathan Martin, OT – Stanford: The Bengals get some protection for Andy Dalton. (LW – Same)
19. New York Jets - Courtney Upshaw, OLB - Alabama: The Jets need some pass rushers. Revis can’t shut down WR’s forever, so the Jets need to get some heat on QB’s. (LW – Melvin Ingram, OLB – South Carolina)
18. Dallas Cowboys - Alfonzo Dennard, CB – Nebraska: The Cowboys need more talent in their defensive backfield. (LW – Same)
17. Tennessee Titans - Devon Still, DT – Penn State: Depth is thin a DT for the Titans. (LW – Same)
16. Chicago Bears - Brandon Thompson, DT – Clemson: The Bears could use more talent and depth at DT. (LW – Same)
15. San Diego Chargers - Dre Kirkpatrick, CB – Alabama: The Chargers could use some young blood at CB. (LW - Same)
14. Seattle Seahawks - Ryan Tannehill, QB – Texas A&M: The Seahawks have a clear need at QB, and Tannehill can help address that issue. (LW – Same)
13. Philadelphia Eagles - Zach Brown, LB – North Carolina: If the Eagles lose DeSean Jackson in Free Agency they will need WR help, but with the top three prospects off the board, the Eagles address their major need at Linebacker instead with Zach Brown, who fits their 4-3 scheme. (LW - Same)
12. Arizona Cardinals - Melvin Ingram, OLB – USC: The Cardinals really need to add a pass rusher to their defense, and Ingram is one of the best. (LW – Riley Reiff, OT – Iowa)
11. Kansas City Chiefs - Riley Reiff, OT – Iowa: With the top Running Back off the board, the Chiefs look to upgrade their Offensive Line. And also with Kyle Orton on the team, the Chiefs seem to upgraded their QB talent enough to hold drafting a QB for at least another year. (LW – Trent Richardson, RB – Alabama)
10. Buffalo Bills - Nick Perry, OLB - USC: This is a good draft for pass rushers, and the Bills get a much-needed pass rusher for their 3-4 defense in Nick Perry. (LW – Alshon Jeffrey, WR – South Carolina)
9. Carolina Panthers - Quinton Coples, DE – North Carolina: The Panthers get the best pass rusher in the draft. Coples is the best prospect on the board here, and he can play multiple positions on the line. (LW – Same)
8. Miami Dolphins - Trent Richardson, RB – Alabama: With the top QB’s off the board, the Dolphins go for the best prospect available. And in Trent Richardson, they also get the big name to sell tickets with. Reggie Bush had a good season, but he’s going into his seventh year, and Richardson could make who ever takes the snaps life much easier. (LW – Landry Jones, QB – Oklahoma)
7. Washington Redskins - Landry Jones, QB – Oklahoma: I could see Washington trading up into the top three to get Robert Griffin III, but if that doesn’t work they could stay where they are and draft the next best prospect on the board, and that’s Jones. Washington still has an urgent need at QB, even if Matt Barkley isn’t coming out. (LW – Matt Barkley, QB – USC)
6. Tampa Bay Buccaneers - Morris Claiborne, CB – LSU: Ronde Barber is close to retirement, and Aquib Talib has legal issues, so The Bucs could have some serious issues with CB depth. (LW – Same)
5. Jacksonville Jaguars - Malcolm Floyd, WR – Notre Dame: I’ve heard some pundits saying the Jags should draft a QB here, but who are they going to throw to? I don’t think you can fully evaluate Blaine Gabbert’s play, because The Jags have absolutely nothing at WR. No offense, but there are college teams with better WR’s. (LW – Same)
4. Cleveland Browns - Robert Griffin III, QB – Baylor: Colt McCoy has done OK so far in his career, but he’s not a franchise QB. But Robert Griffin III has the tools to be one. With Matt Barkley staying in college, Griffin is the clear number two QB. (LW – Same)
3. Minnesota Vikings - Justin Blackmon, WR – Oklahoma State: The Vikings get some protection for Christian Ponder and add the number one Offensive Tackle in the draft. (LW – Matt Kalil, OT – USC)
2. St. Louis Rams - Matt Kalil, OT – USC: Matt Kalil is being projected as an elite Left Tackle prospect, maybe too good to pass up. And Sam Bradford could use some help staying healthy. (LW – Justin Blackmon, WR – Oklahoma State)
1. Indianapolis Colts – Andrew Luck, QB – Stanford: The Colts get the heir apparent to Peyton Manning. (LW – Same)
