I confess that I have lost a bit of interest in the NBA. however, the Clippers are a surprise this year, and I believe that OKC may be even better than Miami. Good post, my friend! And a happy New Year…

I promised myself, I’d add more basketball coverage this year, so we’ll see if I can keep it up. There does seem ot be a more parity in the NBA this year, but it may not end up that way.

Kevin Durant has gotten better for OKC and the Clippers have a lot of depth and scoring on their bench, and that should help them in the West.

And happy New Year to you and your family Steven. May 2013 be a good year.

I’m not riding on the Knicks’ train ’cause there ain’t nothing to enjoy as of yet , other than the play of ‘melo .

Roll with the Clip joint baby , as they’re the real deal .

DeMarcus Cousin’s intent wasn’t really to cap Keith Smart , because he didn’t bring his Glock 9mm to work . The Kings are a pi#$ poor team at present .

    1. For Alan: There are four teams in the NBA with 20 or more wins. The Knicks are one of them. Melo’s missed 5 games and his 28 points a game is not the reason they are where they are…just par of it.
2.Maurice: The Clippers look like they’re for real as long as Chris Paul stays healthy. However one of the most biggest surprises this year would have to be Golden State. Do you agree?

I agree Hank, Golden State is definitely as surprise. Being in the lottery all those years is finally paying off. The Backcourt of Stephen Curry and Klay Thompson is becoming one of the best in the NBA. And David Lee has been one of the most underrated players in the league. He’s averaged a double double nearly his entire career. Rookie Harrison Barnes has played well for them too. Coach Mark Jackson is doing a great job with them.

Another surprise is the Atlanta Hawks. They seem to have gotten better without Joe Johnson.

Four teams in the NBA with twenty wins ? Great ! Don’t merely look at the wins but the streaks and quality margin of victory .

Deron Williams ………. coach killer and a gutless piece of crap !

Did you also catch the story on the Kings’ DeMarcus Cousins threatening to ” cap his head coach ” . Nice they suspend the player for a mere three games for physical violence . Just what the NBA needs from an image standpoint in light of the Newtown Connectictut tragedy .

Dywane Wade’s nutsack welcome for Ramone Sessions is a ” reason to keep the boys well covered ” . No one wants their testes pushed up into their lower abdomen .
