32.  Denver Broncos – Eric Reid, S – LSU:  The Broncos take a player in Reid who can help them in the secondary.  Previous Pick: Tyler Eifert, TE – Notre Dame

31.  Atlanta Falcons -  Dion Jordan, DE – Oregon:  The Falcons need a good young pass rusher.  John Abraham won’t be around forever.  Previous Pick:  Ezekiel Ansah, DE – Brigham Young

30. New England Patriots -  Jonathan Jenkins, DT – Georgia:  The Patriots get more depth on their defensive line. Previous Pick:  Barrett Jones, OG – Alabama

29.  Houston Texans – Robert Woods, WR – USC:  The Texans need to add another playmaker on offense.  Previous Pick:  DeAndre Hopkins, WR – Clemson

28.  San Francisco 49ers -  Jonthan Banks, CB – Mississippi State:  The 49ers add more depth to the defensive backfield.  Previous Pick:  Xavier Rhodes, CB – Florida State

27. Green Bay Packers -  Xavier Rhodes, CB – Florida State:  The Packers add some depth to their defensive backfield.  Previous Pick: Eric Reid, S – LSU

26.  Seattle Seahawks -  Tavon Austin, WR – West Virginia:  The Seahawks get another target for Russell Wilson.  Austin has game breaking skills.  Previous Pick:  same

25.  Indianapolis Colts -  Ezekiel Ansah, DE – Brigham Young:  The Colts add youth at OLB.  Ansah should be able to make the transition to OLB.  Previous Pick:  same

24.  Minnesota Vikings  - Alex Okafor, DE – Texas:  The Vikings add another talented pass rusher to their defense.  Previous Pick:  Jesse Williams, NT – Alabama

23.  Baltimore Ravens -  Matt Elam, S – Florida:  The Ravens are getting a little long in the tooth at safety.  Ed Reed won’t be around forever.  Previous Pick:  Dion Jordan, DE – Oregon

22.  St. Louis Rams (from Washington) -  Terrence Williams, WR – Baylor:  The Rams need more talent at WR. Previous Pick:  Keenan Allen, WR – California

21. Cincinnati Bengals -  Jesse Williams, NT – Alabama:  The Bengals add a big space eater to go in to middle of their D-line. Previous Pick:  C.J. Mosley, OLB – Alabama

20.  Chicago Bears - Tyler Eifert, TE – Notre Dame:  The Bears don’t get much production from their TE’s, so Eifert could help change that.  Previous Pick:  Eric Fisher, OT – Central Michigan

19. New York Giants -  Sheldon Richardson, DT – Missouri:  The Giants add more depth to their defensive line.  Previous Pick: Jonathan Jenkins, DT – Georgia

18.  Dallas Cowboys – Matt Barkley, QB – USC:  It’s time for the Cowboys to start grooming a replacement for Tony Romo.  Previous Pick: same

17.  Pittsburgh Steelers – Barkevious Mingo, OLB - LSU:  The Steelers need to add a young pass rusher, and Mingo fits the bill.  Previous Pick:  Jonthan Banks, CB – Mississippi State

16.  St. Louis Rams -  Eric Fisher, OT – Central Michigan:  The Rams could use more talent on the offensive line.  Previous Pick: Jake Matthews, OT – Texas A&M

15.  New Orleans Saints – Sam Montgomery, DE – LSU: The Saints don’t have much of a pass rush, so Montgomery can help.  Previous Pick:  same

14.  Carolina Panthers – Johnathan Hankins, DT – Ohio State:  The Panthers get bigger and stronger on defense.  Previous Pick:  Star Lotulelei, DT – Utah

13.  Tampa Bay Buccaneers – Jonathan Cooper, OG – North Carolina:  The Bucs add another talented offensive lineman.  Previous Pick:  Jonathan Cooper, OG – North Carolina

12.  Miami Dolphins -  Keenan Allen, WR – Cal:  The Dolphins need a WR, and Keenan Allen is the top WR on the board.  Previous Pick:  Sheldon Richardson, DT – Missouri

11.  San Diego Chargers – Jake Matthews, OT – Texas A&M:  The Chargers could use more protection for Philip Rivers.  Previous Pick:  Johnathan Hankins, DT – Ohio State

10. Tennessee Titans – Damontre Moore, DE – Texas A&M:  The Titans get one of the best defensive players in the draft, and Moore is a great pass rusher.  Previous Pick:  Manti Te’o, ILB – Notre Dame

9.  New York Jets – Taylor Lewan, OT – Michigan:  The Jets need a QB, but may have to  wait until the second round to take one.  I doubt they would take another USC QB in Matt Barkley to replace Mark Sanchez.  So they add talent to their offensive line.  Previous Pick:  same

8.  Buffalo Bills  -  Geno Smith, QB – West Virginia:  Smith is closer to Ryan Tannehill than he is RGIII or Andrew Luck.  He’s not a number one pick, but he is top ten, and Buffalo needs a QB.  Previous Pick:  Barkevious Mingo, OLB - LSU

7.  Arizona Cardinals -  Chance Warmack, OG – Alabama:  The Cards need to add talent on the offensive line, as they couldn’t run or pass protect.  Warmack should help immediately.  Previous Pick:  same

6.  Cleveland Browns – Star Lotulelei, DT – Utah:  Lotulelei is a dominant force in the middle, and the Browns could use the help defensively.    Previous Pick: Damontre Moore, DE – Texas A&M

5.  Detroit Lions – Dee Milliner, CB – Alabama:  The Lions secondary is a liability and Milliner can help with that.  Previous Pick:  Bjoern Warner, DE – FLorida State

4.  Philadelphia Eagles -  Luke Joeckel, OT – Texas A&M:  The Eagles may not need a QB with Nick Foles performing well as a rookie.  But the Eagles O-Line definitely needs improving.  Previous Pick:  same

3.  Oakland Raiders – Manti Te’o, ILB – Notre Dame:  The Raiders need an enforcer on defense.  Current MLB Rolando McClain has had off the field issues, and Te’o has none.  An ILB with Te’o's pass coverage skills makes him more valuable than the typical “tackle maker”.  You can find guys throughout the draft who can make a lot of tackles, but an ILB who can cover as well as tackle has top five value.  Previous Pick: Dee Milliner, CB – Alabama

2.  Jacksonville Jaguars -  Bjoern Werner, DE – Florida State:  Werner reminds me of the Rams Chris Long.  A DE with a relentless motor and is equally effective against the run or pass rushing.  He’s not flashy, but will be a cornerstone of your defense for ten years.        Previous Pick:  Jarvis Jones, OLB – Georgia

1.  Kansas City Chiefs – Jarvis Jones, OLB – Georgia:  At this point there is no QB to pick at number one.  And I don’t think offensive tackles carry the same value they used to, so no OT at number one either.  With QB’s taking over the league, teams need defenders to try to stop them.  Jarvis Jones is not only a great pass rusher, but is good in coverage as well.  Jones has game changing ability.  The Chiefs can take Jones here and pick at QB at the top of the second round.  Previous Pick:  Geno Smith, QB – West Virginia
