First Round

32.  Baltimore RavensSam Mongomery, OLB – LSU:  The Ravens could use another pass rusher so they put Montgomery in the mix.  Previous Pick:  Matt Elam, S – Florida

31.  San Francisco 49ersJesse Williams, NT – Alabama:  The 49ers add more depth to the defensive line.  Previous Pick:  Jonthan Banks, CB – Mississippi State

30.  Atlanta FalconsZach Ertz, TE – Stanford:  The Falcons get their replacement for Tony Gonzalez in Ertz.  Previous Pick: Dion Jordan, DE – Oregon

29. New England PatriotsSharif Floyd, DT – Florida:  The Patriots get more depth on their defensive line. Previous Pick:  Jonathan Jenkins, DT – Georgia

28.  Denver BroncosManti Te’o, ILB – Notre Dame:  The Broncos take the controversial Te’o at a position of need.  Previous Pick: Eric Reid, S – LSU

27.  Houston TexansJonthan Banks, CB – Mississippi State:  The Texans need to add some skill to their defensive backfield.  Previous Pick:  Robert Woods, WR – USC

26. Green Bay PackersDatone Jones, DE – UCLA:  The Packers add some depth to their defensive line.  Previous Pick: Xavier Rhodes, CB – Florida State

25.  Seattle SeahawksJustin Hunter, WR – Tennessee:  The Seahawks get another target for Russell Wilson.  Hunter has good size and speed.  Previous Pick: Tavon Austin, WR – West Virginia

24.  Indianapolis ColtsJohnathan Cooper, OG – North Carolina:  The Colts were not a very good running team and Cooper can help with that as well as protecting Andrew Luck.  Previous Pick:  Ezekiel Ansah, DE – Brigham Young

23.  Minnesota Vikings  – Tavon Austin, WR – West Virginia:  The Vikings need a WR to bolster their passing game and take the pressure off of Adrian Peterson.  Previous Pick:  Alex Okafor, DE – Texas

22.  St. Louis Rams (from Washington) -  Cordarelle Patterson, WR – Tennessee:  The Rams need more talent at WR. Previous Pick:  Terrence Williams, WR – Baylor

21. Cincinnati BengalsAlec Ogletree, ILB – Georgia:  Ogletree may be the fastest ILB in the draft, and the Bengals will get a boost with him in the middle. Previous Pick:  Jesse Williams, NT – Alabama

20.  Chicago Bears - Tyler Eifert, TE – Notre Dame:  The Bears don’t get much production from their TE’s, so Eifert could help change that.  Previous Pick:  Tyler Eifert, TE – Notre Dame

19. New York GiantsJonathan Jenkins, DT – Georgia:  The Giants add more depth to their defensive line.  Previous Pick: Sheldon Richardson, DT – Missouri

18.  Dallas CowboysLane Johnson, OT Oklahoma:  The Cowboys could use some help at OT.  Previous Pick: Matt Barkley, QB – USC

17.  Pittsburgh SteelersKevin Minter, ILB – LSU:  The Steelers need to add some youth all over their defense and Minter will help.  Previous Pick: Barkevious Mingo, OLB – LSU

16.  St. Louis RamsKenny Vacarro, SS – Texas:  The Rams need an enforcer at  SS.  Previous Pick:   Eric Fisher, OT – Central Michigan

15.  New Orleans SaintsDion Jordan, OLB – Oregon: The Saints don’t have much of a pass rush, so Jordan can help at OLB as the Saints move to a 3-4 defense.  Previous Pick: Sam Montgomery, DE – LSU
14.  Carolina PanthersSheldon Richardson, DT – Missouri:  The Panthers get bigger and stronger on defense.  Previous Pick:  Johnathan Hankins, DT – Ohio State
13.  Tampa Bay BuccaneersJohnathan Hankins, DT – Ohio State:  The Bucs could use some size on the interior defensive line.  Previous Pick:  Jonathan Cooper, OG – North Carolina
12.  Miami DolphinsKeenan Allen, WR – Cal:  The Dolphins need a WR, and Keenan Allen is the top WR on the board.  Previous Pick:  Keenan Allen, WR – Cal
11.  San Diego ChargersXavier Rhodes, CB – Florida State:  The Chargers are getting a little long in the tooth at CB and Rhodes is a big fast prospect.  Previous Pick:  Jake Matthews, OT – Texas A&M

10. Tennessee TitansChance Warmack, OG – Alabama:  The Titans need help on the interior of the line and Warmack is the top OG in the draft.  Previous Pick:  Damontre Moore, DE – Texas A&M

9.  New York JetsEric Fisher, OT – Central Michigan:  The Jets need a QB, but may have to  wait until the second round to take one.  I doubt they would take another USC QB in Matt Barkley to replace Mark Sanchez.  So they add talent to their offensive line.  Previous Pick:  Taylor Lewan, OT – Michigan

8.  Buffalo Bills  -  Barkevious Mingo, OLB – LSU:  Even with Mario Williams, the Bills had trouble rushing the passer.  Mingo can help with that and in coverage.  Previous Pick:  Geno Smith, QB – West Virginia

7.  Arizona CardinalsGeno Smith, QB – West Virginia:  New coach Bruce Arians showed what he could do with a rookie QB last season with the Colts.  Geno Smith might do well under Arians tutelage.  Previous Pick:  Chance Warmack, OG – Alabama

6.  Cleveland BrownsStar Lotulelei, DT – Utah:  Lotulelei is a dominant force in the middle, and the Browns could use the help defensively.    Previous Pick: Star Lotulelei, DT – Utah

5.  Detroit LionsDamontre Moore, DE – Texas A&M:  The Lions need a pass rushing threat off the edge, and Moore is one of the best pass rushers in the draft.  Previous Pick:  Dee Milliner, CB – Alabama

4.  Philadelphia EaglesDee Milliner, CB – Alabama:  The Eagles could use some help at CB and Milliner is the top ocrner in the draft.  Previous Pick:  Luke Joeckel, OT – Texas A&M

3.  Oakland RaidersJarvis Jones, OLB – Georgia:  The Raiders need help at OLB and ILB, but with Manti Te’o's draft stock falling, Jones is the best pick here.  Jones is good at rushing the passer and dropping into coverage and should help the Raiders right away.  Previous Pick: Manti Te’o, ILB – Notre Dame

2.  Jacksonville JaguarsBjoern Werner, DE – Florida State:  Werner reminds me of the Rams Chris Long.  A DE with a relentless motor and is equally effective against the run or pass rushing.  He’s not flashy, but will be a cornerstone of your defense for ten years.       Previous Pick:  Bjoern Werner, DE – Florida State

1.  Kansas City ChiefsLuke Joeckel, OT – Texas A&M:  At this point there is no QB to pick at number one.  I like Jarvis Jones with this pick, but the Chiefs are already solid at OLB.  So they’ll take an OT and address QB later.  Previous Pick:  Jarvis Jones, OLB – Georgia
