Tony Romo and the Cowboys look to get an win in the NFC East over the Redskins. Here are the NFL Picks for Week 6
NFL Picks – Week 6
Bengals vs. Bills - Bengals - The Bills have issues at QB, as apparently Thad Lewis will start for the injured E.J. Manuel. The Bengals defense is one of the best in the NFL, and even though the Bills should still be able to run the football, the Bengals will be too strong. 27-17 – Bengals
Lions vs. Browns - Lions - The Browns had gotten a spark from QB Brian Hoyer, but Hoyer went down with a torn ACL last week. Previous starter Brandon Weeden returns to the starting lineup. And even though the Brown have played well, they don’t have enough offense to stay with the Lions. 28-20 - Lions
Raiders vs. Chiefs - Chiefs – This is a rivalry that transcends records, and both teams will be looking to win. The Raiders and Chiefs have good defenses, but the Chiefs are a little stronger defensively, and will ultimately wear down Terrell Pryor and the Raiders. 24-17 - Chiefs
Panthers vs. Vikings - Vikings - The Vikings seem to be a team without direction, as they have brought in Josh Freeman to compete for their starting QB job. However, they will have plenty of motivation in this game, as RB Adrian Peterson will give an inspired performance after the death of his son. And if Peterson does play, I think this will cause the team to rally around him, and the emotion will propel the Vikings to the win. 24-21 - Vikings
Steelers vs. Jets - Jets - The Steelers are still a dangerous team even though they haven’t won yet. However, the Jets are coming off of a huge win over the Falcons last week, and the momentum from that win will help them secure the win. 23-20 - Jets
Eagles vs. Buccaneers - Eagles - The Eagles have hit a soft area in their schedule, and just as last week they got a win over the Giants, they will win this week over the Buccaneers. Michael Vick may not play due to injury, but the Eagles will still have enough offense to get the win. 21-13 - Eagles
Packers vs. Ravens - Ravens - The packers are playing well right now, but Baltimore is coming off of a big win on the road last week over the Dolphins, and coming back home will give them the boost they need to beat a good team like the Packers. It will be close, but the Ravens get the win. 24-23 - Ravens
Rams vs. Texans - Texans – The Texans are in a rut at the moment and QB Matt Schaub is struggling mightily. However, I think Schaub will bounce back with a good game, and the Texans defense should have enough to contain the Rams. 28-21 - Texans
Jaguars vs. Broncos - Broncos - The Broncos will win easily. 35-13 - Broncos
Titans vs, Seahawks - Seahawks - The Titans will play hard and will the Seahawks a good run, but the Seahawks are coming off of tough loss to the Colts, and they will bounce back this week. The Seahawks are nearly unbeatable at home. Seahawks win. 28-17 - Seahawks
Saints vs. Patriots - Saints - Patriots TE Rob Gronkowksi may be back in the lineup, and he will give Tom Brady one of his top targets back. However, the Saints still have more firepower on offense, and are playing well on defense too. So it will be a close game as Brady rarely loses at home, but Drew Brees and the Saints will win a close one. 24-21 – Saints
Cardinals vs. 49ers - 49ers – The Cardinals have come on the past few weeks with a couple of tough wins. But the 49ers are still the more talented team, and they have put together some wins after a slow start to the season themselves. 49ers will in this NFC West contest. 27-20 - 49ers
Redskins vs. Cowboys - Redskins – I picked the Redskins to win this one. Click the link to see by how much.
Colts vs. Chargers - Colts – The Colts have emerged as one of the better teams in the league. The Chargers have shown they can score, but have been inconsistent on defense so far. The Colts will get the win on the road. 28-24 - Colts
Thursday Night game: I correctly picked the Bears to beat the Giants, 27-21.
Last Weeks’s Review - I went 9-6 on picks last week. I am 50-28 on picks for the season and that’s 64%.
